Part II of last week's pen + paper. So much happy in these itty-bitty rooms.

I'm such an idealist and this is my dream (house) on pen and paper. I think getting my ideals out on paper helps me visualize them clearly and helps to bring me back to reality. Maybe this will be an ongoing exercise then?

Also, Mother's Day is just a few short days away! Head on over to the shop -- it's full of happy spring things for mama, grandma, aunt, sister, or friend! 

Remember my spring to-do list? I think I can happily check off an item on there! 

For the past little while, I've been itching to paint something, anything! and last night I had the surprising motivation to do it. Painting is familiar to me and I can easily manipulate and create with paint. Perhaps I've been feeling a bit stuck with my pen and paper? This was a fun way to loosen up and I hope to continue painting on a regular basis. So, brush-to-paint-to-canvas is "crossed off" but is now an ongoing item on my list!

I've been seeing a lot of blooms and budding things this past week. Is it just me, or is it too early for this?? Nevertheless, I still love seeing the little pops of colour and new life.
